BOSTON MARATHON

I am headed to Boston for the Boston Marathon to support and meet several LIN Ladies who are running... GO LIN LADIES!!!!

Congrats to Audrey Watson

Congrats to LIN LADY Audrey Watson who reports,  "Just competed Ultra race #2 for the year and what an adventure Old Goats 50 Mile was! Single track trail run in San Juan Hills...running through streams... Climbing 13,000ft... and even running through the snow for 4 miles (Santiago Mountain)..Berrrr!!!! This race was pretty challenging however the course was beautiful :) Finished around 10 hrs and 50 minutes or so... Very long race for me but managed to finish 8 Female overall! Woohoo. Next race before the big 100.. PCT 50 May 14th"

We would like to give a BIG CONGRATS to Sarah Haskins for finishing in second place and earning the title of USAT Sprint National Champion being first US finisher.

Testimonial Just Came In

Dear Angelo,

I ran St George Marathon this year and found these socks at the expo.  I was very worried about trying something new on race day, but I had the worst problem with blisters.  My last marathon before St George, I think we counted 9! (And that was fewer than before!)  I tried everything from no pedicures to having pedicures, from gels to powder, from socks to different shoes.  Everything someone suggested I tried, even putting pads in my shoes so they could absorb the excess (even though I did not think my feet were really sweaty)... so I tried everything.  Race day, I put on your socks and I had to admit, they felt great.  I thought even if they don't prevent the blisters I will like wearing these around town.  At the end of the marathon it was the moment of truth.  As I took off my shoes I knew NO BLISTERS!!!  I was so excited. 
Later that month I took my socks to Athens Greece and ran the 2500th anniversary marathon and once again NO BLISTERS!  It was not just a fluke your socks worked!  I really can't thank you enough.  I am totally sold and have told our local running store that they should carry them. 
The nice thing about runners is that we share our success stories with our friends and I have told many people that ask how to get rid of blisters to try your socks.
